Naughty First

I went through dates after dates since I joined a dating site. The thoughts of settling down with the perfect man seemed like a distant dream.

It was my best friend and also house mate, Sharon's idea to join a dating site. She too, was looking to find her perfect match. As we spent another night searching the dating site, looking at profiles after profiles. Sharon managed to find a profile she liked. His name was Dean and she decided to message him. Me on the other hand, had no luck.

Weeks passed, and I still had no luck with the dating site, even those who had messaged me through the website, just didn't interest me. Sharon on the other hand could not stop talking about Dean. I guess she is just looking forward to their first date. I decided while Sharon was out on her first date with Dean, I would stay in and pamper myself.

As Sharon got ready for her date. I got ready to pamper myself in my comfy pyjamas and opened a bottle of wine. Sharon was still getting ready as the door bell rang. As I answered the door, it wasn't just Dean. It was Dean plus one.

Dean introduced himself and his friend, Conner, just as Sharon came down the stairs. The thought of Sharon having a date with both guys on the same night seemed a bit odd.

"Oh by the way, your coming out with us" Sharon said as she reached the bottom of the stairs. "Thanks for the warning, I'll look great going out in my pyjamas" I replied as I shot a bit of a nasty look at her but that didn't seem to bother her as she was purely grinning at me. "You boys won't mind waiting ten minutes?" She asked before dragging me up the stairs. Ten minutes? How on earth could I be ready in ten minutes? I need some miracle.

Once in my room, I couldn't resist yelling at her. All she could say was that, I seemed miserable every time she mentioned Dean, so she decided to ask him if he had any single friends. And so he has.

Sharon had it all planned out, including my outfit. I was ready in ten minutes with her help.

The night was perfect, like a fairy tale come true.

After that night, we all got together often. Sharon and Dean soon became a couple. And I was longing for Conner to become my boyfriend. Which soon happened when he asked my to be his girlfriend a month later. Feeling him embrace me in his arms for our first kiss. I felt like a princess.

Two months later, I accepted his proposal to become his wife. We may not have been together long and many people may think we have rushed our relationship. But I know I have found my prince.
