Naughty First

Driving home from work today I saw a huge billboard sign that said dating free and I just don't understand what it even meant. It was a big picture of a sweet girl smiling trying to sell this proposal of how good dating free is. I do recall seeing an advert for this on the TV but not even that makes much sense. In the advert you see a small soft spoken Asian girl talking in Chinese as a middle aged man is doing some weird dance in the background to the soundtrack of dirty dancing.

Once I got home from work I immediately phoned up the girl I was dating and asked her if she had ever seen this billboard and she told me she had. I then asked her if she like me was completely lost on what the message was that they were trying to promote. Thankfully she wasn't as dumbstruck as me and actually gave me some valid answers of what it was. She spent the next hour explaining to me that dating free is a company that that help single men in western countries to find themselves a cute friendly Asian woman to marry. To me this sounded like some sort of escort service and I asked my so called girlfriend if this was legal here in the United States. She said it was perfectly legal as they are not paying for sex and that all dating free does is help two individuals connect with each other. What those people do in the privacy of their own home is completely up to them and they take no responsibility of what goes down once they do their part of setting the two people up to meet each other.

It all sounded like a very weird and unusual concept of a business to me but I didn't have the energy to argue with my girlfriend about it so I quickly changed the subject. I started to talk to her about the weather and invited her to come skying with me this weekend up in the mountains with my family which she gladly accepted with a high pitched "YES". So in two days I will be cruising down them slopes like a pro with the snow blowing in my face and the cold temperature turning my toes blue. I will just have to remember to wear warm clothes so I can avoid getting frostbite.
