Naughty First

My boyfriend of two years broke up with me and broke my heart. I thought for certain I would be single forever and would not meet another man that would tickle my fancy. He dumped me rather coldly and it took me so long to get over him. I was reeling in shock for at least six months.I didn't have any warning signs and had thought that everything was as wonderful for him as it was for me. Obviously I was incredibly off the mark.

At least nine months went past before I could brace my heart to even consider a blind date or allowing friends to match me up. I had in my mind that all men were cruel and emotionally untrustworthy. I would rather tickle a tiger with a feather than date again I would proclaim. Who needs a boyfriend when you have good friends to have fun with? When I was ready I tossed caution to the wind and gave online dating a try. I met four verydifferent men and didn't hit it off with any of them. Was it me? Was it them? How much longer should I try this? How many men should I meet? I was considering giving up when I saw the profile of a handsome man that lived near my hometown. Just thinking about dating him I felt a tickle in my tummy. We exchanged emails and then phone calls. After a few weeks we chatted on the telephone and decided to meet. Oh, he was so handsome in person.

For our first date he took me to an older piano bar. I thought that was an odd choice until he sat down at the piano and began to tickle the ivories. He played me his favorite songs and I swooned at how romantic this all was. Handsome, romantic and talented were all on the top of my must have in a boyfriend list. He was , and still is the one who I finally was brave enough to give my heart to and he has been taking good care of it since.
