Naughty First

I am shy by nature and dating men has never been in my vocabulary. I have never been on a first date and I think I would faint if I was approaced by a cute guy and asked me for a date. So I ask my friends what it was like for them on their first dates.

All my friends agree that the first date is almost always adorable. From the way they tell their stories, I find it so adorable that they think their dates are so cute. They act like gentlemen, opening doors for a lady, pulling her chair out for her, etc. On the first date, men are also more generous. They spend for a lavish dinner and will agree on whatever you want.

On succeeding dates however, men will attempt to be more intimate. They will start caressing your hand or your shoulder and may even go for a kiss. At this point, it will be up to the girl to take control. Whether she wants to continue casually dating the guy or drop the bad news that things will not really work out between the two of them.

If things do start getting intimate and the girl still wants to keep seeing the guy, then caressing body parts is normal. It may sometimes just be a sign of affection or admiration and not lust. A touch on the shoulder or him holding the girl's hand are pretty harmless. It may even look cute if a couple out on a date held hands while walking or while talking over a glass of wine.

Caressing may develop into more intimate matters though and a girl should always assess if she's ready to take it to the next level or to hold back. At this point, a girl should always be safe if she does want to have any form of sexual relations with the guy. And she should decide if what she wants is the same as the guy wants. Does the guy want just sex or is he after a relationship? Is the girl ready as well if things didn't work out as she wanted?

I didn't know first dates could stem out so many different topics that I had to stop them since I had to prepare for my first date. I just asked my friends to wish me luck and I promise to call them later and tell them all about it. As a woman, I dont respect men having any secrecy.
