Naughty First

While watching an interview the other night on TV something was said that shocked me. I have heard of swingers clubs of course, but not on prime time in an interview with a huge sports hero. I guess like all things in life if you live long enough you will see something new that shocks you. He was telling us all about going to Vegas and being invited to go to a swingers club. Of course he didn't go into much detail after that, but he did go on to say he recommended going to one. He said he didn't know that people did those sorts of things in public.

My oldest child’s First date was so sweet and it was a Blind date as well. Anyway, it was a short blind date. They took off together to watch a ball game. Their local teams were playing but not against each other. That would not have gone well I don’t think. In the south we take our football very seriously. They dated for a time, but like most first loves it was short lived. She has grown into a wonderful lady since that first date.

One of my other children had her first date to her junior prom Dance. I know she was so nervous and worried about her hair and dress until she was a complete wreck. The dance was held at the local lodge and it was a lovely decorate affair. Of course she was breath taking at 17 in that long beautiful flowing green gown. Her first blind date ended up to be her first date and last boyfriend. She married that boy and she is so happy today. They go out and dance at least once a month.

Our other two children both are still single today. They date a lot and sometimes they go out on double dates together. I think those two will marry one day but I don't want them to rush into it. I know they will be so much better off to wait for that right someone who will make them happy. After all that's all we want for our children isn't it? Where ever they go or whomever they are with it's always what parents want to see. Happiness is the key to a long healthy life.
